Prof Dennis Buchanan - Chairman
Dennis is Emeritus Professor of Mining Geology and Senior Research Fellow at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, where he is responsible for the MSc course in Mineral Deposit Evaluation and running short courses for industry. He has worked as a mining geologist in both gold and platinum mines in South Africa and has extensive international experience in the exploration, development and evaluation of mineral deposits.

He is the technical director of the Moonstone Group and over the last seven years has gained extensive experience in the technical management of a major Central Asian JV. In 1995 he was on secondment from Imperial College to Deutsche Morgan Grenfell where he worked closely with investment bankers in both London and Toronto.
